GENERAL USE HERBS FOR YOUR DOG, CAT AND GUINEA PIG.

The tablets are available in:

  • 300 mg (round tablets), primarily used for cats and guinea pigs
  • 1200 mg (oval tablets), primarily used for dogs

The tablets have a break line in order to easily split the tablet in half. If necessary the tablets can be split in smaller parts with a small knife or pill splitter.

Application

The herbal formula can be given for a prolonged period of time to a dog, cat, guinea pig, gerbil, hamster or other small pets. It is suitable for animals of all ages, including pups and kittens. Can be use when the animal is pregnant or weaning. Also use in case of diarrhoea.

Administering the tablets

The tablets can be administered as follows:

  • place the tablet as far back on the tongue as possible and let the dog swallow.
  • hide the tablet in a bit of cheese, meat or something else the animal likes. You can mix it with a small a mount of food, but make sure everything is eaten!
  • dissolve the tablet in a bit of water and administer with a syringe
  • crush the tablet and mix it with a pasty substance. For your cat, roll it into a small ball and put it on the cat’s paw, the cat will lick it of

Side effects

The formula doesn't have any known side effects. Either short or long term. Your pet will not get a skin problem, start itching etc. from the herbal formula.

Medication interaction

Interactions with other herbal formulas from Petherbs or with veterinary medication are not known and therefore this herbal formula can be administered simultaneously with all other products, of course in the prescribed dosages.
This herbal formula may also be used together with veterinary medication or special diet food. If so desired you can cut back on the veterinary medication or diet food after 1-2 weeks. A successful method is: give both for the first week, second week divide the veterinary medication or diet food in halve, in the third week divide the veterinary medication or diet food in halve again or stop giving it.

Medication overdose

This means your animal has ingested more than the prescribed dosage. A severe overdose (e.g. 10x the normal dosage) may cause diarrhoea. If this does not stop after a few days, contact Petherbs or your vet.

Storage

Store in the original packaging at room temperature (under 25°C) in a dry place, i.e. not in the bathroom.

Expiry date

When properly stored, the tablets can be used until the expiry date on the packaging. Do not use after the expiry "exp" date. For example: exp. 06. means that the tablets should not be used after June .

Dosage, preventive/ maintenance dose

This herbal formula may be given long term, either as a preventive measure or as maintenance. The dose for this is the same as a normal dose, there a no side effects when used long term. When the symptoms are no longer present after 4 weeks of using a maintenance dose, the dose can be decreased. The dose can differ from animal to animal and should be tried out.

Colour, smell and flavour

The composition of this herbal formula is always the same, but since we are dealing with a natural product colour, smell and flavour can vary.

Pure quality

The product contains pure natural ingredients, without chemical additives such as gluten, yeasts, colourings, fragrance or conservatives.

Leftover tablets

Leftover tablets do not have to be disposed of as chemical waste, but can be put in a green wastecontainer. The formula is made of natural herbs.
