The gallbladder is located beneath the liver and connected to it. The liver secretes gall to be found beneath the liver and is connected to it. The liver secretes bile that is conducted through the bile duct to the gallbladder and stored there. The walls of the gallbladder absorb the excess water and contract when it’s muscles are stimulated. Thus allowing the concentrated bile to be excreted through the bile duct to the small intestine. There, the bile will improve digestion.
